Treatment of infections due to drug-susceptible microorganisms, including: infections of ENT organs and respiratory tract (acute and chronic bronchitis, pneumonia, lung abscess, pleural empyema); skin and soft tissue infections (streptodermia); genitourinary infections (pyelitis, acute and chronic pyelonephritis, cystitis, prostatitis, epididymitis, gynecological infections, uncomplicated gonorrhea); intra-abdominal infections (biliary and gastrointestinal infections, peritonitis). For the treatment of sepsis and bacterial septicemia, infections of bones (osteomyelitis) and joints; bacterial meningitis and chancroid, syphilis, Lyme disease; typhoid fever, endocarditis; salmonellosis, infections in immunocompromised patients and for prophylaxis of postoperative purulent-septic complications.

Treatment of the mono- and mixed infections caused by susceptible microorganisms.
Severe infections: sepsis, bacteraemia, peritonitis, meningitis; infection in patients with reduced immunity; in patients in intensive care units, for example, with infected burns; respiratory tract infections, including infections of the lungs in patients with cystic fibrosis; infection of upper respiratory tract; urinary tract infections; infections of the skin and soft tissues; infections of the digestive tract, the biliary tract and the abdominal cavity; bone and joint infections; infections associated with hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. Prevention: surgery on the prostate (transurethral resection).

Treatment of diseases caused by antibiotic-resistant staphylococcus: cervical erosion, burns, trophic ulcers.

Treatment of diseases caused by antibiotic-resistant staphylococcus strains, burn disease, poorly healing trophic ulcers and ulcers in the extremities; as part of combined treatment for postoperative, postpartum septic conditions as well as such of any other origin; treatment of staphylococcal intestinal dysbiosis and sanitation of staphylococcal carriers; cervix erosions.

Symptomatic treatment: labyrinthine disorders including vertigo, tinnitus, nystagmus, nausea and vomiting; cerebrovascular disorders, including dizziness, tinnitus (tintos), headache of vascular origin, irritability, impairment of memory and ability to concentrate; peripheral vascular disorders, including Raynaud's disease, acrocyanosis, intermittent claudication, trophic disturbances, trophic and varicose ulcers, paresthesia, night cramps in the extremities, a sensation of cold in the extremities.

Treatment of infections causes by microorganisms, which are sensitive to clarithromycin: infections of the upper respiratory tract, i.e. nose and throat (tonsillitis, pharyngitis) and infections of the sinuses; lower respiratory tract infections (e.g. bronchitis, acute lobar pneumonia, primary atypical pneumonia); infections of the skin and soft tissues (such as impetigo, folliculitis, erysipeloid, abrasions, infected wounds); acute and chromin odontogenic infection; disseminated or localized mycobacterial infections caused by Mycobacterium avium and Mycobacteriym intracellulare. Localized infection caused by Mycobacterium chelonae, Mycobacterium fortuitum and Mycobacterium kansasii; eradication of H. pylori in patients with duodenal ulcer in inhibition of acid secretion (clarithromycin activity against H. pylori at neutral pH is higher than acidic pH).

Mild or moderate pain syndrome (headache, arthralgia, migrane, toothache, neuralgia, primary dysmenorrhea). The drug can also be used as an antipyretic agent for diseases accompanied by fever.
