Individual reactions to medicines differ. Unfortunately, it is impossible to identify all adverse reactions during clinical trials. Pharmacovigilance is defined by the World Health Organization (WHO) as the science and activities for detection, assessment, understanding, and prevention of adverse effects or any other drug-related problems. Pharmacovigilance system in Arterium is aimed at monitoring safety of medicinal products and their efficacy throughout the entire lifecycle. Identified adverse events or lack of efficacy indicate that further investigation of the medical drug is required.
