Pharmaceutical Worker Day is celebrated every year on the third Saturday of September. This year is particularly special for us as it marks the 20th anniversary of Arterium Corporation.
The day before the holiday, on 19 September, Oleksandr Sazanovich, the head of the Shevchenkivskyi District State Administration, paid a congratulatory visit to Arterium and Kyivmedpreparat. The official thanked the companies' employees for their dedicated work and visited the newly created museum of the history of Kyivmedpreparat, one of the main manufacturers of Arterium products, which has more than 175 years of experience in the production of medicines.
"These people take care of the most valuable thing every day. They take care of people's health. Their dedication to their work, team unity and sincere desire to develop Ukrainian pharmaceuticals are impressive. I would like to highlight the initiative to create the Museum of Pharmacology separately. It is not just an exhibition, but a true symbol of respect for the industry's history and a source of inspiration for future generations," he wrote on his Facebook page.
For decades, Arterium and Kyivmedpreparat have contributed to the development of the domestic pharmaceutical industry and the well-being of the Kyiv community. Over the past 20 years, 239 new Arterium products have entered the Ukrainian market when taking dosages and forms into account. Arterium implements many social projects in various areas, including educational programmes for patients, career and vocational guidance for young people, and initiatives to improve Kyiv.
