Education through practice: results of the "Chemistry by touch" project
Ten schools received sets of chemical reagents for educational experiments from Arterium Corporation. These sets are designed to last for several years, so students will be able to conduct experiments and practise regularly.
This is the final stage of the "Chemistry by touch" educational project, which has been running since May. Through this project, we aim to make chemistry lessons in Ukrainian schools more interesting and practical. Our task is to show students chemistry in action and prove that this subject can be not only theory, but also an exciting adventure.
Our team told schoolchildren about modern professions in the pharmaceutical field, the development of the industry, and how chemical knowledge is used every day — from laboratories to finished products. For students in grades 9–11 — future applicants — this knowledge can be the key to choosing their own profession.
The "Chemistry by touch" project is a step towards making school education modern, practical, and closer to the needs of students.
