Arterium donates laryngoscopy kits to hospitals

As part of its ongoing charity programmes, Arterium has donated laryngoscopy equipment kits to five Ukrainian hospitals. These kits are used in the treatment of patients with severe coronavirus symptoms before intubation for mechanical ventilation.These hospitals have special support units providing medical care for patients with coronavirus. More than fifty patients with suspected coronavirus are admitted to these units daily. “In the current situation, medical institutions are reporting the need for additional equipment and tools. The availability of special medical equipment and instruments, including laryngoscopes, in the medical institutions treating patients with coronavirus allows for proper patient care. Understanding this, we acquired and transferred laryngoscopes to the intensive care and resuscitation departments of several hospitals,” commented Maxim Verbilov, director of the antibacterial group of drugs department. “I thank all the employees who helped ensure the quick purchase and delivery of laryngoscopes,” added Mr Verbilov.
