Arterium sponsors publishing of Ali-Shir Nava'i's book

On May 25, presentation of Farhad and Shirin, a newly published poem by the prominent Central Asian writer and philosopher of 15th century Ali-Shir Nava'i, was held at the embassy of Republic of Uzbekistan in Ukraine. It coincided with the Uzbekistan–Ukraine Cultural Relations conference that took place on the occasion of the author's 575th birthday anniversary. The unique book was published owing to the financial support from Ukraine's Arterium Corporation and Uzbekistan's Ukr-UzAvto.
This unique fine literature volume is remarkable not only for its typography and authentic 15th-century ornaments but also for the fact that the poem is presented in two languages: Uzbek in Cyrillic script and Ukrainian, as translated by Mykola Bazhan. Also in the book are reproductions of the author's original manuscript.
At the conference, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Uzbekistan in Ukraine Alisher Abdualiev emphasised the importance of co-operation between the partner countries and thanked Arterium Corporation for its support in maintaining national and cultural traditions in Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
Arterium Corporation opened its representative office in Uzbekistan in 2005 and is now among the 10 most successful pharmaceutical companies in this market.
