Arterium Corporation Sponsors National Congress of Cardiology
Arterium Corporation has become a prime sponsor for the 16th National Congress of Cardiology held in Kyiv in late September, with over 1,300 cardiologists, physicians and family practitioners from across the Ukraine attending the event.
In addition, a satellite symposium on ACS case management was held, hosted by prominent experts in this domain. Prof. Dr. scient. med. Oleg J. Zharinov gave a talk on the application of aldosterone antagonists in the treatment of cardiac impairment and the advantages of using Renial as compared to expensive import drugs. Prof. Dr. scient. med. Vasyl Z. Netyazhenko, the Chief Physician of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, highlighted the feasibility of adjuvant therapy for acute myocardial infarction while reporting on the results of the international clinical trials of Thiotriazolin in patients with the non-ST-elevated acute coronary syndrome.
Arterium Corporation presented Project Virtual Patient at its stand this year. The medics were offered to select a patient and assign a suitable therapy with the company's medicinal products (such as Thiotriazolin, Corvasan, Kasark, and Renial). Virtual patients were a man and a woman with signs of cardiovascular disease. They also showed a reaction to the right or incorrect dosage of the drugs assigned. This innovative approach enabled medics to learn the correct starter and target doses of Arterium's heart disease drugs in a new virtual presentation so that they can further apply the knowledge in their day-to-day practice.
Arterium's participation in the Congress has become a remarkable event primarily owing to the innovative information delivery format used and the lectures of the leading cardiology specialists.
