Trichomoniasis (urinary infections in women and men caused by Trichomonas vaginalis); amebiasis (all intestinal infections caused by Entamoeba histolytica, including amoebic dysentery, all forms of extraintestinal amebiasis, especially amebic liver abscess); giardiasis. Prevention of infections caused by anaerobic bacteria, during operative treatment of straight intestine, gynecological surgeries.
