Hypertensive crisis, ventricular rhythm disorders (torsade de pointes), eclampsia, encephalopathy, hypomagnesemia. High demand for magnesium, in combined therapy for preterm labor, poisoning with salts of heavy metal, arsenic, tetraethyl lead, soluble barium salts (antidote).

1 ml of solution contains 250 mg of magnesium sulfate.
