Amoxicillin is a semisynthetic representative of beta-lactams, which break the bacterial cell wall synthesis in the active growth phase and causes the death of microorganisms. The spectrum of activity of amoxicillin trihydreate in respect of gram-positive microorganisms include: Streptococcus spp., Enterococcus faecalis, Staphylococcus spp. (Except for strains producing beta-lactamase), Corynebacterium diphtheriae, Bacillus antracis, Clostridium spp., Listeria monocytogenes. The medicinal product is also active against gram negative (microorganisms (Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Neisseria meningitidis, Bordetella pertussis, some strains of Haemophilus influenzae, Escherichia coli, Shigella spp., Spp., etc.), as well as some spirochetes (Leptospira spp., Borrelia spp.). Amoxicillin is destroyed beta-lactamase. Acid resistance.
