Statement of pharmaceutical companies regarding searches
On Friday, February 28, 2025, law enforcement authorities conducted searches at the facilities of leading Ukrainian pharmaceutical companies—Farmak, Darnitsa, and Arterium. As part of the investigative actions, documentation related to cooperation with pharmaceutical distributors was seized.
We emphasize that:
- Our companies operate transparently and strictly in compliance with the current legislation of Ukraine.
- All contracts and financial transactions are properly documented and undergo the necessary procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- We are open to cooperation with law enforcement authorities and provide all necessary information within the established legal framework.
The searches are taking place just before March 1, 2025, when Farmak, Darnitsa, and Arterium supported the President's initiative and the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) decision of February 12, 2025, to reduce prices by 30%. The companies have voluntarily assumed additional commitments, recognizing their social responsibility.
We are strongly committed to an objective and impartial investigation conducted in full compliance with the law, ensuring the uninterrupted operation of the pharmaceutical sector in the interests of all Ukrainian citizens.
