Consumers of the Republic of Kazakhstan can now track the path of products from Arterium TM, check the information about the medicine manufacturer and expiration date
The government of the Republic of Kazakhstan has established mandatory requirements for individual digital labeling of medicines from 1 July 2024. Owing to digital technologies for tracking and ensuring transparency of the turnover of market participants, the country will strengthen the fight against the shadow pharmaceutical market and the manufacture of counterfeit products.
The introduction of a new legislative initiative allows to control the production and import of medicines into the country, as well as their logistics, circulation and consumption.
Arterium Corporation was one of the first companies to timely make appropriate changes to the drug master files and successfully implement the project of individual digital labeling among non-resident companies of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Ukrainian pharmaceutical companies. Now, each package of Arterium TM products shipped to Kazakhstan is marked with an individual digital code that meets their regulatory requirements.
The project was implemented within a short time owing to a professional team and the available material and technical resources. After all, Kazakhstan is the 3rd country where products of Arterium TM are shipped with individual digital labeling.

We comply with all legislative and regulatory requirements in the markets of presence, and respond to their changes in a timely manner to ensure uninterrupted provision of patients with Arterium TM medicines.
By the way, in Ukraine, the new Law "On Medicinal Products" of 2022 also provides for the introduction of medicinal products verification system with 2D coding and a packaging integrity indicator for certain product groups, similar to EU requirements.
The roadmap for launching this project has already been presented to the Ukrainian pharmaceutical business sector. The management of Arterium Corporation is involved in the process of creating a national digital labeling system in Ukraine, providing their advice and sharing experience in the field of pharmaceutical manufacturing operations to combine and harmonize them in the digital labeling process.
Experience in implementing projects and performing operations on individual digital labeling for foreign markets will help Arterium to implement the same project in Ukraine when this legislative initiative comes into force.
