Calcenon: a new veterinary product in Arterium’s portfolio
In August 2014, a new veterinary product Calcenon Solution for Injection 100 ml in vials manufactured by Galychpharm was launched on Ukraine’s market. This product was developed by Galychpharm R&D Centre as a generic product. Necessary non-clinical and clinical studies have been completed as required by current Ukrainian regulations to veterinary products.
Calcenon is a product for therapy and prevention of mineral metabolic disorders: calcium, phosphorus and magnesium in farm animals such as horses, cattle, goats, sheep and pigs.
Calcenon is indicated for:
- tetania (during pregnancy, lactation, transportation, pasture etc.)
- post-parturient paresis and paresis caused by calcium and phosphorus deficiency
- calcium, phosphorus and magnesium metabolic disorders
- acetonemia
- lead, fluorine and oxalic acid poisoning
- toxicosis, allergy, haemorrhagic diathesis, erythrocyturia, and haemoglobinuria.
