Arterium took part in the STEM Girls initiative
For several years in a row, Arterium has been joining the first Ukrainian STEM Girls program, founded by the CSR Development Center in 2016. This is a project that brings together Ukrainian women leaders in science and girls who are interested in STEM fields, technology, engineering, and chemistry.
For several months, the participants work on developing scientific projects of social importance, accompanied by mentors.
Iryna Klyaznyka and Olga Masteliak, managers of Arterium, joined the program as mentors. They shared their professional experience and knowledge with the mentees, which strengthened the girls' faith in their abilities and the opportunity to build a STEM career in Ukraine, and provided support for the girls' projects, from idea development to presentation of ready-made solutions.
“For me, this is the support of a new generation of female scientists who have the courage and potential to connect their future with STEM fields, because today, at a very young age, they think big and want to change the world,” Iryna Kliaznyka shares her impressions.
Olga Masteliak adds: "Participation in the program is a way to invest in the future, in those who will change approaches in medicine, technology, and the pharmaceutical industry tomorrow. In my joint work with the mentees, I not only shared my skills, experience, and examples of my own career path, but also was inspired by the participants, their versatility, confidence, openness, and flexibility. I believe that these are the first steps of future leaders, and I am glad that I was able to become a step on their career path."
Arterium not only systematically supports initiatives to engage young people in technological areas, but also implements its own projects for the development of students and schoolchildren, including training to deepen knowledge in the profession of a chromatographer, career guidance activities for schoolchildren, and others.
