Arterium Supports the Development of Student Initiatives: Participation in a Fundraising Forum
Arterium continues to support youth initiatives and foster the development of student self-government in Ukraine. Recently, we took part in the student forum “Fundraising: From Start to Finish”, organized by the Ukrainian Student League in partnership with the Kyiv Youth Center. The forum brought together 100 student leaders from 36 higher education institutions and 9 speakers, including 5 representatives of the business sector.
“Many students have great ideas about attracting alternative funding to support student projects. However, they often lack the experience and skills to properly present their ideas to businesses and make a compelling case for collaboration. I shared Arterium’s experience in working with youth organizations and offered practical advice on preparing the effective project proposals to attract business partners,” said Maryna Herasymenko, Arterium’s Personnel Training and Development Manager, who joined the forum as a speaker.
The students worked in an interactive format with business mentors. They developed their own fundraising strategies, received practical tips, and learned how to pitch their initiatives.
We believe that involving businesses in the development of student self-governance will help young people bring their ideas to life and make positive changes in the society.
