Arterium Corporation starts all-ukrainian campaign Do It Today to fight diabetes

Arterium Corporation has initiated an all-Ukrainian diabetes prevention project – Do It Today. Diabetes is the second-most common disease in Ukraine after cardiovascular conditions. Over 1.2 million people with Type 1 and 2 diabetes have been registered in Ukraine thus far. Over 80% of acquired Type 2 diabetes cases are preventable – all you need to do is diagnose it at its earliest stage and adjust your lifestyle accordingly. Synevo, Ukraine's largest medical laboratory network, has supported Arterium Corporation's effort. The companies have joined forces to raise awareness about spreading diabetes among the Ukrainians and to motivate them to make sure the disease is timely diagnosed and its development and complications prevented. At the core of the campaign is its website – doitnow.com.ua, where the visitor is immersed in an everyday-life story, facing familiar situations and choosing how to handle them. Depending on the visitor's choices, the risk of diabetes is calculated, and, if there is any danger, a prompt to order analyses online at the nearest Synevo Lab Centre with a discount is shown.
