Arterium supports Lviv hospitals
Last Friday, an emergency hospital and tuberculosis treatment and diagnostic centre, which treats patients with coronavirus, received charitable assistance from Arterium. Around 4,000 medical packages were handed over by Arterium on the initiative of the People’s Deputy Mykola Kniazhytsky.
“During a pandemic, hospitals have a special need for medicines used to treat complications from coronavirus, including antibiotics, so we responded quickly to this initiative and transferred medications to the hospitals," said the head of public relations Oksana Stefanova.
Back in March, in response to the spread of a new type of virus in the world, Arterium opened a funding support programme worth some 12 million hryvnias. This programme includes assistance to health facilities and the implementation of measures aimed at prevention and control of the disease, the provision of medicines and support to health care workers. To date, Arterium has provided around 40,000 pieces of personal protective equipment, more than 24,000 packages of medicines and equipment to 25 health care facilities.
