Arterium has developed an effective hand sanitiser
In September, the first batch of Rukosept hand sanitisers appeared in Ukrainian pharmacies. The disinfectant contains 80% ethyl alcohol and is effective against most bacteria and viruses. The composition of Rukosept was developed on the basis of the WHO recommendations WHO Guidelines on Hand Hygiene in Health Care, 2006, according to which disinfectants containing 60-80% alcohol have higher efficiency. In addition to 80% alcohol Rukosept contains hydrogen peroxide and glycerine. Hydrogen peroxide inactivates spores of micro-organisms, and glycerine moisturises the hands’ skin. Rukosept is produced in bottles equipped with a spray nozzle, which protects the solution from external contamination throughout the entire period of use. In the nearest future, Arterium will also present an antiseptic for surfaces and indoors disinfection. Considering that medical workers are at an increased risk of COVID-19, the first batch of Arterium hand sanitisers was delivered to medical workers.
