Arterium Corporation launches a new product
In early January, Arterium Corporation launched Argilife, a new generic prescription drug. The new addition is a blood substitute, and its active ingredient is L-arginine, an amino acid that plays a substantial role in the regulation of bodily functions on the cellular level and exhibits protective properties important in critical conditions.
“The application of amino acids in the treatment of heart diseases and in the combination therapy of other conditions has gained utmost relevance these days,” Arterium's project portfolio manager Valentina Plashchevataya said. “Developing this drug, we had to be careful about selecting the active ingredient. We managed to make Argilife a high-quality product that is totally on par with the original,” she added.
