Arterium met with Ukrainian students

The Arterium team met up with Ukrainian students within the framework of the 88th International Scientific Conference of Young Scientists, Postgraduates and Students which was held by the National University of Food Technologies. In a state of war, we want to support young people and to explain that the Ukrainian pharmaceutical business is functioning and has potential.

“We understand that any war leads to emigration. Following February 24, millions of Ukrainians crossed the state border in search of safety. In particular, young people who are the future of Ukraine. Foreign industrial companies, for example in Germany, are ready to hire and are already hiring Ukrainian professionals in the chemical, biological and technological fields. This may have a negative impact on the Ukrainian labour market. Therefore, Arterium initiated a meeting with young people as part of a student conference. Several other leaders of the Ukrainian pharmaceutical business have also joined the initiative. Each of the companies showed, using their own examples, that the domestic pharmaceutical market is working, we have plans and see our future in our country together with Ukrainian specialists,” – said Anna Yegorova, head of the Arterium staff training and development department.

During the meeting, the Arterium team also told the students how it managed to establish logistics and production after the start of the full-scale war. We organised two additional logistics centres in Lviv and Ternopil and, thanks to this, increased the number of delivery points for Arterium products. At the same time, every day our team donates charitable assistance to medical and military institutions.

“We felt that such meetings were necessary. We have the opportunity to tell that we are doing everything to ensure that the Ukrainian market continues to work and students feel confident that they will have a job in their country,” – adds Anna Egorova.
