Arterium Corporation presents branded medical devices

15 June 2018 | News

In June, Arterium-branded medical devices will become available in pharmacies across Ukraine. Offering a new category of products under its brand, Arterium Corporation guarantees their quality and is striving to justify consumers’ trust. “We decided to expand our product portfolio to provide Ukrainian patients with quality high-demand medical devices – syringes and infusion kits,” Director for Endocrinology and Biotechnology Direction Valerii Vovcherenko commented, “Although widely used in Ukrainian medical practice, such products don’t always have the quality that has long become standard in Europe, I’m afraid”.

The range of Arterium-branded medical devices includes two-part, three-part, and insulin syringes, as well as infusion sets.

They come complete with thin-wall needles from Nipro (Japan), which have special silicon coating and are uniquely sharp. It helps make procedures less painful and traumatic, which is especially important in paediatric practice and in the cases, where patients require frequent injections or increased risk of bleeding is involved. Syringe bodies and parts are manufactured from polypropylene copolymer (PPC), a high-tech material that ensures perfect translucency of the syringe cylinder and the smoothest possible action of the plunger for medical personnel to control the quantity of drug administered and infusion rate with confidence. All devices are non-allergic, contain no toxic materials, and are kept sterile by packaging materials that comply with the most stringent quality standards.

Production of the entire range of medical devices has been commissioned to OJSC Hemoplast. The company’s production capacities are ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 compliant and meet the requirements of Directive 93/43 EEC.
